The importance of minority education need not be re-emphasised in the cities. The famous Sachar committee report is an eye-opener for each one of us, whether it is in the community or the private sector. The scenario of the minority education and more specifically, the Muslim minority, and the need for their education in the country is important. Moreover, the government has been trying its best to evolve strategies, policies, to ensure that minority education is given the utmost priority in the country.
