Mr. Verghese went a bit back into, history, where ATMs started in 1998 along with other feature and functions to provide access to banking to Dhan Yojana financial inclusion scheme of the Prime Minister that provide a farmer access to a RuPay card that will be one of the key drivers of growth with a host of benefits, especially, offered to farmers. The RuPay card will work both as a KCC account and a savings account card. Further, it can be operated from any ATM, and it can also be used to repay the loan taken.
