In his address, Mr. Tushar expressed his field experience shared with some farmers in West Bengal, who used to sell their milk collected in morning 6o’ clock in the morning selling by evening in the milk market in Kolkatta and losing all their earned money in commuting from village to Kolkatta vice a versa. In a scenario, the Kotak Mahindra Bank came to the aid of farmers, where it in coordination with Amul cooperative society made an arrangement for RuPay cards for availability of immediate credit to them. Enabled with plastic money and facilities within their reach the poverty among farmers was reduced and they become more aware of various Financial changes occurring around them.
