According to Mr. Bhatia, the change is taking place in the sphere of use of mobile in banking and financial sector in India. In his address, he divided phone era into Pre Smart Phone Era (Inceptive) and Smart Phone Era (Effective Consumer Apps). Pre smart was based around exchanges of SMSs and mailing. However, the smart phone era is more around about effective consumers Apps and getting most of the banking facilities on smart phone.
