Through ICT – enabled learning, we can make more sense to generation Y. There is shortage of qualified trained faculty and ICT is the solution. Every child has to come up and there has to be level playing field, there have to be classrooms. People have to be comfortable with technology. If a teacher runs away from tech, students run away from them. Today’s generation’s attention span is less. Using open source software is the smart thing to do and they are using spoken tutorial as an audio-video tool used to teach Open Source Software where students learn a software in short simple steps in an interactive manner. They can replicate the instructions, build and run the highly manageable programmes. 2500 workshops across the country have been conducted.
