eINDIA 2014 – mGovernance in the Era of Technologies… Satish Mittal, Senior VP – Vodafone

In his address at #elets #eIndia2014 summit, one of the leading ICT event of India, Satish Mittal, Senior VP- Technology, Vodafone Business Service told mobile phone to a beautiful device with multi functionality. Initially, devised for merely talking it is now widely used for variety of usages as banking, accessing news, taking photos, etc. There are about 900 million mobile users and 250 million mobile Internet users in India. This brings a large spectrum of services to be offered on a massive mobile service platform prepared by mammoth number of telephone users in India. Vodaphone service M-Pesa is one such example, where, endpoints are more than the combined total number of branches in India.
