In his address at #elets #eIndia2014 Summit, Mr. Deepak Srivastava told that Mahanadi Coalfields Limited has a total 22 coal mines of which 16 are opencast and six underground. As a Mini Ratna Company, MCL has an annual profit of Rs, 5000 crore. The entire infrastructure of Mahanadi Coalfields Limited is now supervised under Coal Net. Another area contractual payment has also been effectively dealt under Coal Net.
