The role of Chief Technology Officers (CTOs) has become very critical in the Banking, Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI) industry. The CTOs have to ensure whether the systems are running or not. Banking and financial institutions in sync with technology have done a remarkable job in the implementation of Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana, demonetisation and now the Goods and Services Tax (GST). Technology interface is bringing robust changes in the financial institutions. The risk of malware infestation is making it critical for the BFSI industry to undergo exponential revamping.
