Dr. M Sasikumar, Executive Director, Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC), Mumbai spoke on the topic- AI and Cybersecurity: The Data Challenge.
He stated “Cybersecurity is a major concern for all of us. Due to our increased focus on getting the application up and running, there has been a strong faith in digitalisation over the past few years, along with insufficient security action. We make very little effort to improve the security of applications. This is a great concern about security. Speaking of old AI, one fascinating aspect of it was the ability to open the bots and view the knowledge within. There were regulations that were adhered to. It was comparatively much simpler to enter people’s minds. It was simpler to read and make sense of it. However, the new AI possesses hidden information like a few general networks. Large collections of numbers contain the knowledge. It is dispersed. To be quite honest, there is no clear information or data, and it makes it tough to predict what is happening aside from the outcome”
